Crazy that they skipped the first sex, I feel like that was what this was all supposed to be building towards. I'm like 95% Mai isn't dead though, since her mom was just talking about angels and the vol 4 cover shows her with white hair (which could imply she gets turned into an angel or something). Either that or she becomes a dead spirit. I've really liked this story so I wanna give it the benefit of the doubt, but if it actually does end in tragedy (a tragedy that started literally the chapter before the end) then that'd be super disappointing
