Except she wasn't just saying it aloud, she was internalizing it, rationalizing it, hoping for it. It was literally her lifeline for surviving out in the cold region until she met Reshtoku. You can't get any more of 'wanting revenge' than that. Not to mention the whole 'people are more complicated than that' doesn't really go well when nearly every other character in the series have been aligned in terms of how they act with what they want. Even the sister, who can be considered 'complicated' is pretty on the nose with what she wants. You can say her actions don't align, but at the very least there's the reason of external factors keeping her from it to a degree. Karina doesn't have any of that.Like, you understand that the things someone thinks they want and tell people that they want don't always align with their actual desires or needs, right? Like, yeah, she's said aloud to others, especially Reshtoka, that what she wants is revenge, but that's not the same as her actually wanting that. People are more complicated than that.
If Karina had already given up on fixing her relationship with her sister, then she doesn't nor didn't always want to make up with Aurora like you said. It no longer serves as her motivation or goal, and thus can't be considered to be something that she wants. This is especially the case, when Karina not only rejected the stuffed animal, but also berated her maid, and destroyed her castle, therefore possibly cutting off the last link she had with her sister until she returned to the kingdom. And of course she rejected the stuffed animal. She had already decided that it was impossible for her to fix her relationship with her sister so she could only see it as an additional hurt in their relationship, not as the peace offering it was intended as. She has no more access to her sister's intentions than her sister has with her intentions. They're both just guessing.
This post has been verified and fact checked by the shoujo manga republicLike most shoujo manga does. "Please, for the love of everything good, TALK TO EACH OTHER"
Well yes, but at the very least you could express to your fiancee about your plan to kill her sister before immediately jumping on it.This doesn't really solve much in this situation. Karina doesn't know what's wrong, she doesn't understand why taking revenge wasn't good enough for her, she is as confused about her own feelings as Reshtoka is about them.
My initial post in this thread extends to every character in this series. Aurora, Karina, their mother, the entire kingdom needs to sit down and have Naruto come out from the page to execute Talk no Jutsu.People saying that they should just communicate when we see in this very chapter that Reshutoka makes an active effort to communicate with Karina and see what's wrong, but Karina refuses to. She's a bit dumb already, so she'd naturally end up trying to guess what Karina wants.
Problem is theres no plot.
Prince really hates her for no reason and cuz of him everyone hates her.
Sister does nothing to stop this and is basically complicit.
Wolf can pretty much do anything but receives no requests so nothing happens.
MC wants revenge but her revenge strat is to do absolutely nothing and has no compatibility with Wolf.
Right now the wolf deciding that killing the sister doesnt actually make any impact on the plot unless the MC secretly cares even though for all she knows the sister wants her dead.

Generally I would have agreedFor the millionth time, imagine if communication existed in scenarios like this in manga 😭
No that's the thing. I WANT a story. A good story, even. But if a conflict exist, that when you pull back their skin, is caused by miscommunication and can be ideally resolved with a proper sit down and talk, said conflict is not a GOOD conflict. So you don't want a story?
Plot is driven by conflict, and the history of the characters and their relationships. The current status quo for every character has already been paid out and justified by events that we have witnessed.
This entire thing is built around the differences in perspectives of the characters and where the discrepancies in their interpretations of events contradict. Inviting some deus ex machina to come in and force a sit-down like you're describing does nothing for the story itself.
Demanding it is just seeking instant validation and refusing to engage with the story as the author has presented it.
I mean....it's all in the story we've gotten up to this point. I feel you'd have to be either ignoring half of the chapters entirely, or willfully misinterpreting what we've been given, to get wrong all that you have, here.
