What in the actual fucking terminator is this build? Looks so weird.

It gets weirder the longer you look too. Like, what's up with his hand? And his right elbow? And why are his shoulders built like a fucking Roblox character?

Immediately putting the boob window to good use.

Couldn't hold it in for too long. Her defence is a bit better than it used to, but it doesn't last.

Don't think his muscles are that well-drawn.

Never been a fan of those nicknames. And they don't feel appropriate for them.

Don't think there's a need to apologise. She's shown some indication that she wants that.

namely the fact that this relationship was built on a lie.
I'd rather say it started on a lie, but is built on mutual feelings.

Okay but why is he suddenly so fucking ripped
He's always been decently muscular, but I don't remember it being this badly drawn.

Calling him "daddy" already. Kinky asl
Damn, already skipping to "Daddy" and "Mommy" just after 2 weeks of dating? These kids going places.
"Can I call you Daddy?"

The fact that he tanked an instant kill move like that, and responded in kind, is truly admirable. Even after the shitty haircut nerf, he remains a powerful character.

That being said, it really feels like this series is hesitating to get to the actual meat of the plot - namely the fact that this relationship was built on a lie. I'm sure it'll be resolved easily enough, since he knows she asked him out as part of a punishment game and is clearly receptive to the fact that she actually likes him. But I'd at least like to see it addressed. The longer it lingers, the more I become concerned that it's going to lead to a lot of pointless melodrama.
What the fuck? Am I the only one here who finds the whole “daddy” and “mommy” thing rather weird in a situation where they aren't even comfortable with the fact that they're dating? This felt like a very cheap and forced setup to the “we have a baby together” situation that will obviously unfold in the next chapter because of that kid at the end.

Also, reading this feels odd because the author seems to only have two or three different facial expressions that he constantly uses. Go through the entire chapter and look at the main couple's expressions. 90% of the time, they have the same grinning expression.
So, to address all of this: Most likely it was "Otou-san" and "Okaa-san" that was actually said in the raws, and they decided to translate it as "daddy" and "mommy", giving off totally the wrong vibe because in English same-age couples using those terms for each other directly carries an ENTIRELY different connotation not to mention level of formality than in Japanese! In Japanese culture, it's a term of endearment to call one's wife or husband by those terms.

Ok now that makes more sense to me. Though it's still weird as hell. I also edited by comment because I forgot to mention one thing that makes it so much worse for me. She asked to call him “daddy” directly after saying that he resembles her actual father. That's just fucking creepy with the current translation.

It would be okay if they mentioned calling each other that AFTER stumbling upon that kid at the end, but before? Weird.

Are we really going for a long forgotten childhood friend trope?
What they have going right now is already good; there's absolutely no need for that trope. Not only it wouldn't elevate anything, it's more than likely will undermine the plot from being something new to just another same old trope :shamihuh:

I didn't get that impression. There was only one panel that even remotely hinted at that, and to me it looked more like a class outing to the aquarium or something, since you can see other kids in the background of the flashback.

I think the more equivalent will be just dad-mom. Something a married couple (with kid) would call each other in front of the kid. And actually, some Asian country (such as mine), we do use third person pronoun as first person pronoun in some situation (my language has more than 10 pronouns each for first/second/third person). Judging from JP also has a lot of pronouns, I think the concept is probably the same to some extent.

But your point still stand; married couple without kid wouldn't really call each other mom-dad; but I guess the pronoun in that case wouldn't be much different than unmarried couple, so FMC just went hard on trying to hint at marrying.

This is still the second weekend. The "trial" is to last a full month. Relax.

True, it's not very obvious yet and I might be a bit overreacting to the hint of it being the case; but I still don't like the direction of it.

It's a Chekov's gun now. This flashback will have to come back in one way or another; and there isn't many scenario that will be meaningful enough for a flashback to matter without FMC also being in it. I feel like them knowing/meeting in the past diminish their current relationship of two (quite) strangers that start off their relationship on a special circumstance and fall in love; it'll become just another 'destiny couple'.

The LN is still going strong (I gotta find time to go back) so I wonder if we'll get an anime. Imagine all this sugar but animated.

"all of a sudden" :p:p:p

She's been in deep for him since he saved her from Dirty Water-san and it's only been getting worse and worse. And will continue to do so after this date.
Yeah, she likes him. But "Can I call you daddy" out of nowhere, in public, in the middle of a date? Idk just felt a bit random

Yeah it's definitely gotta be addressed at some point, and it wouldn't really make sense for him to have met Nanami at that time. It just doesn't really feel like the kind of series to introduce a rival, considering the main characters are already dating.

Then again, introducing a rival is something shit authors do when they can't think of any other way to move their series along, so it's not impossible.
