maybe if you didn't take a year to translate three chapters impatient anons wouldn't jump in. Complaining about sniping doesn't really seem reasonable here.So are we really gonna get sniped like this? Chapter 6 was already in editing process.

Chapter 4 was in August and Chapter 5 was in February, the interval seems deliberate. A month has passed and considering how long they take to upload each chapter, you should be free to do what you want.
I just repeat, what I told on our discord after Chapter 5 was released.
Chapter 6 is last one in volume 1. And we gonna wait once Volume 2 gets released, which should be at end of next week.
Chapter 6 should be released sometime before Volume 2. And after that, once we get our hand on Volume 2 it's plan to make more regular releases.
Or rather. It WAS plan. Not sure about anything now. I waiting how rest of team is gonna react to this snipe.

I was honestly expecting Moniko to almost be kinda on board with the whole MC's sister being the model for MC's work. But I like the direction it went instead with her being disgusted and disillusioned (and reasonably so).
Also our resident incestuous imoto now knows, so that should be fun going forward.
I think it would be neat if anon helped out the initial TL. At the same time I'm hard pressed to call what anon did as sniping. If we ignore that chapter 5 was released last month the interval between chapters 3-4 and 4-5 were 3 and 7 months respectively. That's a non-insignificant amount of time for a single chapter within a volume without transitioning to a new one (like the initial TL stated to be their plan with ch6 to ch7 and possibly beyond). This long wait is the precedent that's been set, which is why I don't blame Anon.
Anywho thanks for the translation (despite it being rough as you claim, I thought it was fine and I enjoyed it. A better font could be used but that's about it, and it's not that to begin with).

Chapter 2 was in Feb 2022, chapter 3 in May 2022, chapter 4 in August 2022, and chapter 5 was in Feb 2023, not everyone's part of your discord so you shouldn't use that as a basis of info. So just taking the previous chapters and the latest one (which was a month ago after the other ones had multiple months in interval), this shouldn't be considered a snipe at all since it seems the assumption anyone would make would be that the we'd have to wait at least 2 or 3 more months for the next chapter (Again, discord convos don't matter since not everyone's a part of that). The "snipe" was justified considering they waited an entire month after the other chapters had intervals of multiple months.
Well, if speed is really only thing what matters for you guys, then enjoy your spanish re-translations.
Regarding comunication, you should not forget, that for long time Mangadex was without forum, and any kind of options for comments. And reneved them only recently. So there wasn't much options how telling people status of our translation, beside discord.

the only thing i dislike in this one is that it's too "heavy" and with "dark tones", it's not like the happy vanilla of this artist's previous work, it's too "real"

This to be honest. People think doing releases is as simple as OCR and MTL (which a lot of people with low mental power seem to truly believe in actually). There's a reason why all the big manga with regular releases have massive teams of 10+ people (or 1 godlike person) while most releases take longer, usually inversely proportional with the number of people in the team.
If these people don't mind slurping all low quality shit and only read manga for the pictures anyway, power to them. Makes me think what they read manga for, heh.

As long as the english releases have decent translation then all's well in the world. Look at Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, Boku Girl, 5-toubun no Hanayome and lots more i could list. When they were in hot demand fans didnt care if the pages aren't clean or if the translation's freikin God tier, as long as the translation's decent then everybody's happy. Them taking 3-5 months to update just one chapter will negatively affect the popularity of this series, and will also piss readers off.

Anyone who's hooked on a series will naturally prioritize speed. I would like to take the translator for Boku Girl as an example. Back in the day, whenever the scanlator announced he'll begin dumping, everyone gathered. Nobody cared if you were from another board because everyone in there was a fan. But he has this habit of going to that 72 hour conbini whenever he's in the middle of a chapter dump. Pissed fans who were eagerly waiting for each page, and naturally someone couldnt take that shit no more. Decided to take it upon themselves to translate and dump it in the boards whenever there's a chance. Scans werent as clean, and tranlations nowhere near Godtier but was decent and everybody got their fix. 72 hour conbini guy threw a fit, but was given a harsh lesson: if you take it upon yourself to be the scanlator for a manga, and there's a good number who follows it, then its your responsibility to deliver in time and hopefully catch up to the latest chapter, because nothing is more irritating than waiting for months on a chapter translation and the manga has already released a good chunk of chapters from it.
