Hey guys, thanks for the chapter as always. As a note of feedback: as some commenters above have already mentioned, commentary in in-line TL notes can be distracting for the reader. I also find myself skimming over dialogue as it becomes a little unclear across the board to see what is important to read and what isn't.
You could instead post little tidbits in your credit page or as a first forum reply when uploading. This would save clutter on the pages as well as allowing readers to choose whether or not to read them.

Because of the constant emotional neglect by her over the course of their relationship, ML felt that she was being forced to be there due to familial expectiobs. Sure, the catalyst was the ML’s actions, but the cause lies with the FL

I don't like TL notes that are just silly jokes.

All they do is distract me when I'm just trying to read the chapter.

I don't mind the occasional jokes in TLs, I've enjoyed them plenty of other times in many other works, but the jokes have to actually be funny and they especially shouldn't be hamfisted and insisted upon. Rather than fitting in naturally, the offending material detracts from the emotional gravitas.
