I agree. Too many manga with this kind of premise decide that ‘suggestive romance’ is the only route to go.
This author has a better grasp on father-daughter relationship than most authors and is able to execute it with an interesting cast that leaves you wanting more. And this manga has a pretty decent artist to boot!
