I agree that the FL is terrible, but let’s not act like the ML deserves better or anything lol. They’re both absolutely insufferable and deserve each other for that

Nah a girl's devotion can snap you out of that and make you fill the masculine role expected of you and just stop hating yourself & being depressed along the way. Same way having kids makes you grow up.
But Himari's a strange example of topping from the bottom while showing no human vulnerabilities, and it'd be normal for him to just not trust her deep down.
