what's sad is that she don't have any time to deal with her feeling (even though she may try to make a move against her brother in law later), this brother in law just appear a day before marriage and effect her with his charm

well, she's already half step over a line but when a at that she's branded as someone who already go over a line and force to commit her sin

later she acts in a bad way so I don't feel sorry for her but I wonder why some people who guess about what would happen don't prevent it before ceremony

Another glaring weakness of this manga is how "villain" acted and looked so cliche. The first villain is literally a fat female pig who pretty much insane. The second "villain" seems to be the nice lady throughout, but when she was exposed to her crime, which is finding her husband brother who is a legendary hero with the CHARM skill kinda hot and maybe touch him with her pinky finger once, she became hysterical and screaming like an insane woman. It's like the author telling us "yeah look at how evil they are. This is your cue to hate them!".

This was one of those moments that was overly dramatic when there was no reason for it to be. I couldn't even recognize the thirsty milf with how much her character was dramatized this chapter.

Also lust isn't something you can turn off. Feelings don't go away if someone tells you they are wrong. Feelings are never wrong. They were not clear enough on the actions part of her lust. It was the advances that were something she could stop, not the lust itself which felt like it was the focus.

She hasn't even done anything worth mentioning to begin with. I mean mild flirting resulting in a curse? Well i guess that matches the "gods are dicks" cliche which is definitely running through this story.

I remember reading that this wasn't the last we've seen from Aria fucking up things.
Oh well, here I hope Rovel finds happiness, guy deserves it.

Yeah actually I love Ellen as familiar love too
But no one gonna trust and get jail instant for sure
So no one gonna trust you as well
It's fine to get crush to someone but it's not okay to make a move on him despite you already have husband and that dude have a wife that's a big no-no that make you a thot.

@Merilirem: Well like Ellen mentioned, the whole thing got out of control because the Goddess were related to her and her family, and Aria was going to marry into their family.

Its like, a person hears about someone married (or going to be married) flirting with another person, then they usually just talk behind the back or don't care much. But if that same thing happened within their family member, that person won't be able to bare it.

Daang Sauvel looks like 20 or something. Also It's good that they stopped the problem with Aria in the beginning. I don't think Aria acting ape shit isn't overly exaggerated. I've seen meek and quite people become complete opposites of themselves when something like this happens.

I agree with @Morose that the goddesses are only doing it because she (Aria) is going to be related to them. That's why they're being extra attentive. Heck if I knew that my brother's wife is eyeing(nothing happening yet) my other brother I'll still get angry.

@Loksel Well, of course she would behave that way. She just got called out in front of her husband (who she still loves) that she is harboring feelings for someone else. Wouldn't she panic? And it's obvious she didn't realize the consequences of her actions, which is reasonable cause she's not in on the politics here and she used to be a simple commoner pub lady.

Her selfishness here might make you feel disgusted, but that much is present in pretty much everybody. What I'm saying is, her trying to lie and justify herself was just basic self defense, she was desperately trying to protect herself since she was cornered, and being cornered like that sometimes brings out the worst in a person no matter how good they usually are. All that happened to her would probably be enough to push someone towards suicidal thoughts through sheer guilt and embarrassment...and I don't think she deserves that. I'm not taking her side here...I'm just a little sorry for her. She seems to be on the path of being permanently scarred for life. And if she realizes her mistakes, that would only hurt her more cause then she can only blame herself.

As a former normal peasant, she can't comprehend that an inconsequential action of hers which she never even realized would be revealed or pried so deeply into would turn out to have such massive consequences. She's not wrong to find this unbelievable. She on the surface never did anything wrong, she lived the best most satisfactorily way she could have to not bother others...but she can't even keep to her own private thoughts? How will she feel about her privacy now? How will she feel knowing that everything, from outside appearances to what's going on inside her head, everything is being kept in check and that everything has massive consequences now? To me, that would be suffocating. I'd rather just take my child and run away than bother anymore with that bullshit.

Reminds me of that feeling of being forced to sit in one chair during my whole school festival looking after a stall even though I never really planned on doing anything from the beginning...it feels bad being chained to one place even though you might have ended up doing the same regardless. That's how one would feel if they were truly faultless even inside their head. So even if she remained good and pure, her position is really a mentally suffocating place to be in.

@sirflimflam Uncle's quite unlucky: First he had to marry a monster for political reasons, yet when he finally got a divorce and a chance to marry the woman he wanted, it turns out that woman is fickle. Yeah, compare that to the hero's perfect marriage life with the goddess wife and a beautiful genius daughter, with all three of them happy. That being said, in a sense all the troubles were caused by what I mentioned in the comments of an earlier chapter: The spirits mingled with the mortal world too much. This includes the hero as well since he's stuck, willingly, with the spirits now. It was all Ellen's fault, though, that they did intrude so much into the mortal world, so it's fitting it's up to her to set Aria right.

how is this series still holding its point at 8/10? If anyone can clarify it for me it would be great because I can't find this series good at all with this Sauvel's marriage arc
characters are all over the place, at one point they have this characteristic and then next chapter they turn 180 with no sense of unity between different sides, making them messy rather than got any depth. If that's not the case, they're just absolutely boring and one-dimension with little interesting points.
the author is trying so hard to build a deep-rooted kind of plot with schemes over schemes and characters trying to outwit each other, but up to now nothing is fun to read. It's not even satisfying to see into the schemes of either side playing against each other. I'm still following this to try and fall back in love with it but reading every chapter brings me no emotion other than annoyance at how the characters are acting.
Now to this chapter, didn't they say Rovel has a special kind of charm towards women? Like he can charm a woman just from being there in front of her, and now they're blaming everything on Aria?! Rovel is aware of his look as well, and he's still there being like "yeah it's her fault for falling for me" like the biggest narcissist of the series. Sure, I can understand it's mostly Aria's fault for not being 100% loyal, but having her bear 100% fault is no less of shifting blame

Wew. Uncle Sauvel should've shaved ages ago. It makes him look ten years younger.

...Yeah. Not that Aria wasn't at fault at all, and while it was jarring, I can barely believe her outburst this chapter since it really was a lot of pressure, but this problem was mostly the spirits' fault. It's almost like the entire family is conspiring to fuck with poor Sauvel's happiness as much as possible.

First of all, I'm glad we've finally clarified why the goddesses don't dole out their judgement all the time, but that double-standard just makes them seem like assholes to me. If blood relation was what was important, then where the hell were they when the princess butt in? They're just being selfish bitches if they're going to let him go into one of the most unhappy marriages possible without complaint, then interfere in what would probably have been a perfectly functional marriage (some private conversations aside) for personal reasons.

And while Aria is objectively a source of the problems, she hadn't done anything at all, so this was mostly punishing her for thought crimes and emotions beyond her control. Which, might I add, might have not arisen as an issue if Rovel bothered to show his damn face over the course of years instead of leaving his brother to suffer and only showing up at the last minute to complicate things. Again, I can't really blame the dude for being popular with women, but I can certainly blame his lack of consciousness over this more than anything Aria's done.

...Fuck!

I hope the writing gets better because there were bits of this where I was genuinely interested in seeing how events would develop.

Buuuuut it’s isekai so it’s not like I’m getting my hopes up lol.

Is there really a reason to make the uncle this pathetic? In contrast to his brother he gets used and abused by the royal family and his longtime partner falls in love at fist sight with another guy. Is it really needed to beat him down just to elevate the MC and her fahter?

Thank for a chapter

@mommy
This series is all about findind someone to kick their asses, as royal family is the climax so he just have to be a temporary buttmonkey. Ellen did said the truth behind the plotline here "I f I suffered and you don't, wouldn't I be alone?"

200% agree with everyone saying how ridiculous this whole arc is in every way. It's actively making the entire cast more and more insufferable and unlikeable. The author has managed to make everyone involved seem like awful, petty, vicious people, and it's going to be real hard for me to care about any of them in the future.

And can I just point out how incredibly fucked it is for Ellen, having realised that this whole scandal has blown up over literally nothing and that it's totally inappropriate for her goddess aunts to punish someone over a personal matter like this, she apologises to her uncle. Not the woman who she believes has been unfairly punished, no. She threatened her with death, both at the hands of the royal family, and her own. But her uncle deserves an apology, though. Right. I guess this was supposed to make her seem thoughtful and sensitive, huh? So much for that.

"But Aria would've tried something sooner or later!" Yeah? So? If its as inevitable as all that, punish her when she actually does try and cheat on her husband, and not right in front of the family's most hated enemy, when it could potentially start a war! "But she tried to touch his hand! Gasp! Scandal, scandal!" Grow up. Stop reading so much NTR, it's rotting your brain.

Even if it later turns out that the aunt is cheating on the side, none of that is actually known here, and they're all just yelling at her over some thoughts she had. I wouldn't be surprised if the author wrote all this thought-crime stuff, their readers called them out on it, and they just doubling down on making Aria more and more evil until she ended up becoming a serial cheater and a spy and a dark spirit from the hell dimension and Satan's left butt cheek, in a desperate attempt to justify how badly she'd been treated by all the supposed heroes.
