Was about to comment that there is literally no way Merim is actually a guy then saw the cover posted right above.

Glad to see this is getting picked up again hopefully as well, it has a fun little twist on the usual generic OPness. Now to see if his "auto" skill can dodge friendly fire.

And spoiler Yes, it’s only revealed around the end of volume 3 that Merim is a girl, to the surprise of the protagonist. That’s why I chose to use ‘he’ for now.

Well, it's understandable that people would be confused. Because this goes beyond simple pronoun confusion...

Mangaka being deliberately misleading, but we all know how these tropes go, don't we?

Can you truly see a difference between a cute smoll boy and a loli? Both are flat, cute and small! Yea sure lolis have one more hole and can get pregnant to bring more lolis to the world, but boys have a chance to not outgrow their cuteness.
