Thanks for the chapter!
It's funny how almost everyone chose a family name from their own family whether it was still being used or not. Guess they all want a closer bond with MC. XD Although MC doesn't seem to fully realize or appreciate all his qualities that are making all the ladies enamored of him. Fortunately for them polygamy is encouraged for people with valued lineage or considered strong to ensure that at least some descendants survive to continue the family line.
Btw, does anyone know what the curse or bad things the demonic sword Gjallahorn causes that would explain why it was sealed rather than used? Hauto had apparently been using it for months without anything happening. After all there are a variety of curses with irritating to extremely dangerous levels of bad. Like did curse slowly drain his lifeforce with each use, poison him or those cut with it, or something else?
In D&D a cursed weapon usually means that it has a negative effect and appears in the user's hand during a fight preventing the use of any other weapons with that hand. Granted that would be bad as user wouldn't be able to use a bow for flying enemies or switch to something else but I heard about a guy who found a way to make the curse work for him. He had a cursed -3 sword with maxed out swordsmanship abilities and skills so the -3 was a negligible inconvenience. He'd stow or hide the sword somewhere and then go 'unarmed' to shady parts of town or meetings where suppose to be unarmed. If at either of the two someone tried to rob, murder or assault him he'd resist triggering a fight and causing the sword to appear in his hand to his enemies misfortune. Thus, he turned a cursed weapon from a problem into a handy weapon that would appear when he needed it.
