So how long is she suppose to stay in hiding? Until they some how capture the dukes who wanted civil war and their followers?

Also, since her status among the populace has reached even beyond that of the King, the nobles should think twice before attempting anything otherwise their face the wrath of the populace and the royal family. But they are probably greedy and dumb if they're anything like the previous duke so it might just slipped their mind.

For what's going on currently in the raws
this new "heroine" will cause trouble to her. She wants the prince and something with that mansion. She more of a merchant type character and uses merchant type underhanded tactics.

Why would she be living in poverty? You'd think they'd at least send her enough money to live comfortably and buy whatever wine she wanted for what she did

She made a deal for slow and quiet life and ended up with no funds? That's stupid, especially since she is helping the country with her disappearance. Doesn't make sense

@Azif I was thinking the same thing. Unless you were impoverished, even in the preindustrial age, people could afford a glass of wine or beer a day with meals. Heck my grandpa used to make gallons of wine in his basement from less than a dozen current bushes hedging his backyard. Wine is not a difficult/expensive thing to make. And if the wine goes bad, it usually means it turned into vinegar, which is very useful in the kitchen.

Why would she live in a mansion but not afford a glass of wine? Did her family just toss her into a different country with no funds? Then how is she paying rent? Is she "house poor" in my country this is where a person buys a home they can not afford and then can't even afford to furnish all the rooms, they live in a empty home. They keep up appearances with their neighbors but it's all a facade.

She should really be able to afford wine, I feel.

Or rather, what I really feel is bad for her. She just wants to retire already. Time for Round 2: The Sequel!

I hope this heroine is a sweetie and she leaves Claude alone! It would be great if her and Letty got along, but maybe that’s too much to ask :,)

Why in most mangas they try to force this idea that leaving all his richies behind is so noble, she helped a lot of people in the position that she was something that she won't ever be able t do now, and what is so bad of being able to afford what ever you want like damn it always with the goody-goody, modest and fucking poor by choise heroines.
