Also, the princess is still suffering and we've found out not everything is completely her fault due to the goddess shenanigans, am I crazy or after Raoul kill everyone else they might still end up together?
Don't know why I can't help but suspect that, maybe because she's still alive while everyone else who is worse and is actually behind everything is dead, so there's no point in her being the only one still suffering unless she's gonna be relevant, and punishing her more makes no sense since in the end it was all the goddess fault.
From Raouls perspective, the Princess is the worst, though. This isn't about justice, this is about how much they hurt Raoul.
Also, just because you got manipulated into doing something, doesn't necessarily absolve you of the crime.
I was wondering what Raul had done to Bernard. But looking at chapter 3.4 I think I may have figured out why he would be resentful (in the eyes of the guys at the bar), the reason being that Raul's sister was killed because Raul rejected the princess. However, I have a feeling that Bernard doesn't resent Raul, but instead the crown. I will have to see in the next chapter or whichever chapter will reveal his motives.
Actually, it was construed so all the misery and death is the fault of Raoul. A lot of people believe he killed his own sister or she actively supported him, not quite sure about that right now.
I don't even get why they're setting these guys up? Raoul is LITERALLY brutalizing gods, what are these guys going to do? Unless they are like Raoul clones from an alternate timeline with their own gods helping him like he had, what possible threat could they pose?
Being a threat is not the point. It's about setting up more reasons for "revenge porn".
With how much of an aporophobic asshole Raoul's borther-in-law is, i don't see how he can be on Raoul's side. Bet the fucker even hated his wife/Raoul's sis (she wasn't of high stature, iirc), and married her either to get closer to the hero, or it was just a shotgun wedding.
I don't quite remember his role in it, but didn't he practically throw her away? Anyway, your take is very probable.
