Presuming it's her mom coming home, what reaction are we going to get:

1) recognition that he's a boy that did something nice for her daughter when she was in the hospital and acceptance/encouragement of the two of them being close (the "give me grandchildren" route)

or

2) a freak-out over her daughter having a boy in the house when nobody is there, leading to a big fight, badgering/belittling Seika, and possibly threatening him for apparently dishonoring her family.

This doesn't have a drama tag and comedies usually lean towards #1, but that little moment where flashback Seika appears to have a sad/depressing thought about her mom makes me think that #2 would not be out of the realm of possibility.

Back in the beginning of chapter 5 she realizes it is pretty ridiculous to freak out at that and recognizes that it has been 10 years. I think the way she acted after that is comes out of her own embarrassment over having such a freak out over that
