50 years ago today, Cubs outfielder Rick Monday prevented a couple of guys from burning an American flag in the outfield of Dodger Stadium. The Cubs are at the Dodgers this weekend; I'm thinking this gets referenced a few times during the broadcast (it's the national evening game on Fox).

Yeah, this is an indication that the front office/ownership thinks there's a serious problem in the dugout staff. They just talked about this a bit on the Cubs-Dodgers broadcast, and one of the guys suggested the Phillies (who are dreadful so far) may dump their manager and hire Cora, as there's some relationship between someone in their front office and him.
