The trial is to climb a waterfall. And now you know why Magikarp evolves to Gyarados.Ryu in Japanese, Loong in Chinese, basically eastern dragon. These dragons just fly like superman, don't even need clouds. Even in another story, every Lunar New Year, carp fish pass some trials to turn into these eastern dragons to fly to heaven.
the mother dragon alraedy said Souma knows something that Naden herself dont know, i assume that includes her Dragon type characteristics. so that would include in the stuff that Mother dragon cant directly tell to NadenDon't eastern dragons float on clouds to "fly". You'd think Mother dragon would teach her or does she herself not know?
Unless Nadan is the first ever eastern dragon born in this world. I find it hard to believe Mother Dragon who is a being that is thousands of years old doesnt know.the mother dragon alraedy said Souma knows something that Naden herself dont know, i assume that includes her Dragon type characteristics. so that would include in the stuff that Mother dragon cant directly tell to Naden
In the original Japanese, he used the word ドラゴン which is just the katakana for "dragon", and what he's actually saying is that the first kanji he's pointing at is what's used to refer to creatures that look like huge lizards with horns and wings. I think the translator might have parsed this part wrongly. In fact, both 竜 and 龍 are pronounced the same, ryuu, but I'm guessing the translator wanted to localise it a bit more than necessary.Isn't ryu the Chinese dragon as well? Why does the "common dragon", which sounds like a western dragon, have such a simple kanji compared to ryu? Maybe I'm just really ignorant.
no one said Mother Dragon doesnt know. she cant tell, not doesnt know. i said its naden who doesnt know about herselfUnless Nadan is the first ever eastern dragon born in this world. I find it hard to believe Mother Dragon who is a being that is thousands of years old doesnt know.
