people armchairing shitty work culture and being hikkiNEET in a country they never set foot in at the comments section, color me fucking surprised.
I love how this thread is full of kids who probably never worked a day in their life yet are somehow all experts on labor conditions in a country on the other side of an ocean
Thats the beauty of the information: you dont need to go to space to know that is cold as hell and you cant breathe there, or that you dont need to get near to magma so you can discover that the heat can scorch your skin even from a certain distance if unprotected
Japan has a horrible work system and many people become mere drones of the society to a level a westerner cant imagine.
You can look at japanese work interviews, most people literally study books of how to act in an interview because they always follow the same pattern(both questions AND answers) and people look as clones of each other wearing the same clothes and similar hairstyles. Or how socializing outside of your work with your coworkers is not optional but mandatory(and spending more time with your coworkers than with your own family as consecuence) and how being drunk is viewed far different from the west.
Many people have a really idealized vision of Japan, but its more than manga, anime and games and many westerners do experience a culture clash there that anyone who bother to search a bit can look it up. In the west the individual is valued more than the colective, in Japan is the opposite
