I had a lot of fun playing Valkyria Chronicles. Gameplay was decent but I mostly just cheese it by saving load saving load cause minor characters can actually permanently died and I don't want that. But the most enjoyment I get from it is the story. It's nothing ground breaking but playing it I get the same feeling I had watching Band of Brothers and The pacific. The characters are fun and loveable too and imo it's the best part of the game. I also love the addition of the side stories in Valkyria 4. It makes me care more about the minor characters.

If you love war movies but not an easily triggered Arm chair general you would probably find this game very fun.
