Translating names is silly in the first place, the chance of you getting "the meaning of the name" right isn't terrible, but you'll prb just get it partially right.
Names are not translated normally in "the real world". A name is a name, it's not a word, it's a name, you do not translate names. You might give certin things new names better fitting your culture, but you do not simply translate names.
Anyway, personally I think a name should not have a meaning other than reffering to an individual as the person is, not with any added ideas of how that person might act, like evilmcpeterson or something, though I suspect many would disagree.
