I will say this, calling him a cuck is insane. They aren't even in a relationship. They both are (clearly) single, especially since her child's father is not in the picture. I'll admit, I think he's way too nice to her. But calling him a cuck is jumping the gun, the bullet, and the gunman. Is the mom a bit stupid for going to someone she hasn't seen in 17 years? Yeah. Easiest comparison is, why bother taking the time to make your own tatertots when you can get them by the pound in the freezer aisle? Frying isn't even the most annoying part, it's dicing everything up and then shaping individual pieces back together, and the daughter isn't wrong to imagine a machine in a factory because that's way more efficient at scale. Same deal with hashbrowns; I could see myself trying to make some fancy ones at home on a weekend once in a while, but 9 times out of 10 I'm getting in and out of a McDonald's drive through in less than 10 minutes.
