So when will the MC get revenge on that shitty goddess?
Far, far away. This is, I think, vol 5 of the novel, and there are 13 volumes and still ongoing.
Gaining almost 400 level at once is a tad bit much init?
Considering he's already level 2000+
Because his levels are trash.
Due to being E-class, he gets 3 points in stats/level +33 MP, and started from 3. Total points/level: 51.
Ayaka, as S-class, gets 4500 200 total points/level on average. Every one of her levels is worth more than 88 around 10 of MC's, and her attack is way, way higher.
His level 2500 is worth just 28 250 S-class levels. And she's way past level 150 at this point (probably 500 after the fight).

That's why he always schemes, because even with this kind of level, if he gets hit with a big AoE, he can die instantly without even knowing how. Eg. the Dragon Buster guy can easily kill him on accident.

I guess that makes sense, I've been wondering why he doesn't just brute force everything if his level is so obscenely higher than anyone else

Also I suppose that means E doesn't actually stand for Extra and it is actually the lowest rank lol

for now, levels only works to unlock new abilities, remember that he got sleep over 1000 and berserk over 2000 I think (with the monster train).

the kill was cool, ngl, some edgy coolness, but the problem is that it took forever... like Nito appearing against the monster stampade in that other manga similar to this one, except...
he got his revenge already and a good one too
They gain stats modifiers with levels.
They all have a skill tree, but we don't really know how the developp, except for their Unique Skill who unlocks new skills while they level up.
Touka gains new skills by leveling up his skills.

"I even made an opening so that I can get you to enter the domain of my evil element."
You mean you invited him close enough for him to use his real abilities.

"As long as you are born in this world, you cannot defeat me!"
That's such a, "no man of woman born," statement. And all know how those end up.

Neat, she gets to have a cool moment as well.

That's a level up.

...As somebody who's used to level limits of 10-20 or even less, 50-60 at most and treating each level up as an achievement, levels on four freaking digits and jumping several hundreds on one go feels very cheap and like the author doesn't actually know what levelling stands for...
Eh, I've played Disgaea. This is fine.

It was stated several time in the story those born in this world are affected by the Demon King aura (including monsters), that's why they need Heroes to kill the Demon King, because they're not affected by it.

Are you sure about Ayaka? Based on the data available in the Wiki, it doesn’t appear that she gains 4500 points per level. While her total stats at level 1 do add up to 4500 points, that’s simply her starting value—not the amount she gains as she levels up. Her stat growth follows a more complex pattern and does not adhere to a linear progression.

To illustrate, at level 1, her stats are: HP 700, MP 300, Attack 1300, Defense 300, Vitality 500, Speed 700, and Intelligence 700, totaling 4500 points. By level 115, her stats have increased to: HP 1390, MP 2878, Attack 10983, Defense 2256, Vitality 2313, Speed 1574, and Intelligence 1450, for a combined total of 22,844 points. At level 143, her stats are: HP 1935, MP 3178, Attack 20483, Defense 2862, Vitality 3331, Speed 1611, and Intelligence 1712, which adds up to 35,112 points.

It is evident that her stats grow at different rates across levels. For example, her Attack increases by an average of 84.94 points per level between level 1 and 115, but between levels 115 and 143, the increase jumps to an average of 339.29 points per level. In contrast, her Speed grows at a rate of 7.67 points per level up to level 115, but this rate slows down significantly to just 1.32 points per level after level 115.

This variation in stat growth indicates that Ayaka’s progression is not linear but rather follows a dynamic scaling system. Different stats increase at different rates depending on the level range, and her overall stat growth changes as she levels up.

Since you've got the math and source material down. Stat-wise, how does MC fare against the S tier heroes right now?
