The thing with Instant Death skills in JRPG is that they're generally useless because the odds of them triggering are so low that you'd be better off just doing ordinary damage.

And even if you amp up the success rate, using something luck-based against a guy with Maximum Luck is not gonna play out.

The other MC has "Instant Death" because he's literally Death in a human body, who wanted to see what living was like.

He's not "Death" in human body. Takatou is the "End." Hence the Omega part in his codename. Death could kill someone and get resurrected. It's not the case for those ended by Takatou.
