Well I guess I'm the only one who enjoy this manga.

I mean, it is enjoyable for what it is but there is so much about it that just is weak and incoherent.

Like, her teasing him would've been one thing. Her all out tormenting him to a point that he needs to get therapy and it just being dropped is zzz. Or her proclaming to the class he confessed and a whole month being skipped in one panel. It tries to be so different but the payoff is the most generic and lame cop out writing. You could take Yamada out of the manga and it would be the same, not kidding.
Series sadly is a rollercoaster with small hills going in a straight line when it tries to play it off as the destroyer3000.

And now, this slow "life kept going" into the deep timeskip trope that was done a billion times before- it ain't shit but it certainly ain't too good.

Might just be due to this being Hoshino Disco's first work(?) and thus falling rather flat even if the idea/characters are pretty novel and good.

When I was starting to like this... makes me think this is a "Nagatoro" that went VERY wrong.

What did it matter Yamada having a moment of sincerity, if what she said is really true, in the previous chapter? In this last chapter she again was mean to Hoshino for no reason. Maybe what she said about liking to see him suffer is true, and what this makes of Hoshino? He likes the absuse? What reason does he even has to like Yamada? Isn't like in "Nagatoro" where Naoto is truing to resist Nagatoro and eventually Naoto gets to see Nagatoro's good parts and she pushes him to be better, here Hoshino has not reason to even tolerate to be in Yamada's presence.
And now not only does he likes her, even after not talking with her a single time in the month before she moved, he still remembers and wants to go find her? Imagine the cuckery waiting for him if he one day finds her (not that he would dislike, I imagine).

In the end, a despicable pittable trashy MC.
Everything bad Yamada said about him was true and worse.


edit: no matter how good Makoto Ojiro's next work is, she wasted a godly design with Yamada.

I don't think the story is being rushed, she left and time had to be accelerated, what motivated her to make fun of him was also well explained, as was her family situation.

the author could keep making her tease him for a while longer but there is a limit to how far people would continue reading without thinking "why does he keep following her?"

Maybe it'll solve my biggest problem with this series.
Previous chapter "explained" Yamada, made us understand her a little bit, but the series still didn't do the same for Hoshino. Like I said, I see no reason in all previous chapter for him to like her at all unless he is a masochist.

Will the supposed last chapter reunite the two and get them together?
Like, she was only mean with him this chapter because would be pointless to say she also like him, so she choose to left without saying anything but now that he went after her (skipping school?) she will accept him?
