The chapter is mostly to explain the issue of LQ and HQ (and can download it). Also, it will only be for this one time. From now on all our chapters will have the same high quality.

Yeah, but other one most likely will be deleted because it will be count as duplicate chapter. Also V2,HQ,LQ and such on chapter titles are getting removed whenever a mod sees it or an user reports it.

I find it funny that people are so triggered by him, it's obvious that the title girl will win. Though yes it was a terrible what he did and both their reactions were appropriate, especially her slap. But it would've been worse if he carried on, knowing Matsukata's feelings. Also it's true he always wanted them to reconcile, when Matsuka didn't know Kanou's true identity they get along well. He's trying to better himslef and Matsukata definitely has to, too

Hmm... yeah, this really took a turn for the worse, it leaves a bad taste... MC shouldn't have delayed the response to her confession in any way, Kanou is right that Matsukata's confession and relation to Kanou has nothing to do with it. The reason why it's so bad it's because the MC says that he wants to change but in this scene it clearly shows that he certainly doesn't want to because he's avoiding the problem there again. Now he's just making the girl miserable, himself miserable and likely other characters miserable in the end and I am guessing this is all because the author wants to setup the relationship between the MC and the heroine =-=... it's not satisfactory when it feels so forced...

EDIT: Forgot to mention the scene where he just greets Matsukata casually even knowing the confession, making the girl hang even though he CLEARLY wanted to change yet here we go again with the running away. It's not that it's not possible, but when you introduce his growth already with the sports festival ark and show how much he is willing to do to change then dropping all that, when he was actually progressing well with the trip group, to advance the flimsy romance troupe of this work... is just so blergh x-x there's like no rhyme or reason for it!

I suspected the letter would be used to destroy the confession reply somehow, but not that it's fubar it this badly. Plus MC kinda lost most of his growth.

The shenanigans are bad enough that it feels like the story was planned to end with volume 8, then suddenly got extended.
(It definitely ain't on par with the kinds of twists we got to see around volumes 2 and 3)
