I pull up from the bottom arms crossed most time cuz I always in a hurry to take off whatever I'm wearing to change back to my pajamas (or one of the slightly large old t-shirts I'm using to sleep)
In the other cases where I'm not in a hurry, I go with the arm in shirt method instead

That reminds me that I have some pajama pants that if I stand up they instantly go to the floor, but its not related to my size (If I recall correctly, I'm stuck in 56-59 Kg by some years already, and I was supposed to weight a minimum of 60 Kg (•﹏•)), it's the waist elastic that is too lose, if I don't put a safety pin on it every time I get up look like a scene from a slapstick comedy
