The issue here isn't her not making the potions "so OP", but the fact her power is too hard to control. if you make a potion that can "save a life", it will save any life, from any kind of danger, in any possible way. It's kind of like the tale of the monkey's hand -I'm not sure if it's the right name-, be wary of what you wish for, for it will be granted in some random way, the limits must be set by the person making the wish.

Just think about it, how can you verbally define something so it does exactly as what you're thinking? And then try to find any loopholes to that which you thought of, it's insanely hard, and almost impossible to not make an OP potion with that sort of power unless you think about something that already exists, such as the soft drink.

It was already clear during the baron incident the author is too inexperienced to write complicated, believable plots. But then again, this seems to be the author's first work. Let's hope in the future the author will read lots of novels (real ones, not light novels), both domestic and foreign, and learn many a lesson.

Even if she doesn't create potions that lets her shit gold, why not something basic like cheap, flavoured drinks?
In a medieval world with no magic, something as simple as clean drinking water is a luxury not to mention things like sugar or honey for a nice taste.

She could make bank by just selling fucking ice tea and no one will try to enslave her for that. Or hell, just make some booze and sell it for a cheap but reasonable price to a bar or inn owner.

Oh, like a potion that changes her hair and eye color to exactly the desired result? Or her making healing potions with varying qualities such as healing minor injuries, internal injuries and finally "cure all"?
The mangaka should have put clear limits on her power if he's so inept as to grasp its full potential in the current OP form. Or at least have the MC make some dumb excuse like "I don't want to cheat excessively, I'll only use the skill for fun/when I feel like it/when necessary".
