Basically MC is called to the palace by the King to explain the whole incident along with the Elf and the Prince, needless to say MC outsmarts the Prince and with the help of the Elf, the King doesn't seem to pursue the matter any further* (haven't read the source material so I don't know if the beef between the Prince and MC & Friends ends there.)
