I feel like the last 5 pages just tried to wrap up like 50 pages of the novel. Maybe the author just got "bored" with this arc and decided to rush through the consequences. I see no reason why he dumped ALL of his guns, even having one side arm would be probably life saving. Interested to see where this will go, however I kind of don't like that no one had to pay to the other party. Feels like a massive wasted opportunity, make them sign a 30 year repayment plan or something. Get that passive income setup in the new world.

From my understanding in the first two chapters. It's not the first time adventurers came across guns. As long as they're not shot fatally they can recover very quickly.
He threw the weapons away because he knew he wouldn't be able to keep up (maintenance) with them for very long, and that they might cause a war if people want to replicate it. Plus how is he going to carry all those guns around? Better to throw them away then have it fall in the hands of the local people. He could've took one or two guns, but might as well get rid of them all since it might cause him problems in the future. I'm sure he doesn't know how to make bullets, and it's flashy.

The missing information is the power that his gods have. It only concludes that he doesnt need his gun, so it js definite that he realize the general understanding of gods power in some kind and is capable of overpowering any situation. Absolutely disasterous explaination even though tbh its still really interesting

If you're ever stranded in hostile territory make sure to throw your guns away so "it doesn't cause problems in the future".

Did the mangaka run out of pages and just decide to cram multiple chapters in to one?

If mermaid girl gave up her love for legs, then she's got her love back right? a touching, tragic story that the manga just skipped.
Also, why'd she decide to willingly trade love for legs anyways? I thought she wanted legs to follow her love?? circular logic. Or maybe she weighed sexy time + riches > love
Mermaid girl and her man who she doesn't love also decided to try to fake ransom herself to make money from her dad who she probably knows isn't rich?
"Oh yea, I shot at a random ball to make an impression and that happened" what kinda piss-poor storytelling technique is this..
Gun destruction might make sense if they actually spent some time explaining shit.

On the other hand, him going psycho on the merchant lady was awesome so there's that haha

sounds like someone found out they were going to get axed soon is what it is.

If my bullets actually worked without doing head-shots all the time I wouldn't throw it away. one of the problems he would face is standing out too much. What do you think would happen if he uses the gun very openly. people would come after him because of his weapon is unusually. Also you're focusing on the wrong thing. the main problem is maintenance and ammo. it'll last him a while if he had one or two guns, but without resupplying the materials he need for the guns, it would become useless in the future. so he's saving himself some trouble by getting rid of it. He's trained to fight on this world, so he would be fine with other ways of fighting besides a gun.

Thanks for the chapter!
LN described things a little differently and better. What Machina meant by not starting wars wasn't Japan or Earth starting a war in the new world, but not being the spark that sets one off. Although how the weapons previous groups had brought over didn't get reverse-engineered or stolen isn't explained, but would be a really big jump in the arms race of whoever managed to duplicate them first. Modern weapons can even let a child kill a group of adults and that's before adding magic or enchantments into the mix. That and without the mentality to NOT use the weapons or fully understand their destructiveness. Think how different WW2 would have been if Germany had modern ideas, methodology, medicines, weapons and vehicles. Granted a knife in the ribs will ruin anybody's day, whether stone wielding primitive or gun toting modern man and all the modern stuff didn't help the previous groups much.
MC is really interesting. Giving up on a familiar weapon to avoid cultural contamination and possibilities of it being stolen and reverse engineered. Although the gun was less useful against things like those thugs who quickly healed the damage due to damage being minimal and not immediately fatal. In any case, going to be interesting to see how he arms himself since he doesn't have guns anymore and if he ever manages to find or rejoin any of the other group members. Likely going to party up with those two elves who patched him up sometime in the future although probably not at least for 10 or so chapters. Also his be nice to see his reaction to seeing Misranika in her human form too.

What's this illogical argument? You'll run out of ammo eventually, so why not throw your gun away? Like, hello? What? How about throwing the gun away AFTER you run out of ammo? I bet that whatever bs the MC does you will still try to justify it.
He's "saving" himself the ability to use his gun if he ever needs it - that's what he's saving.

Guys, this will be my last post on the internet, and message to the world as a whole. My computer will eventually break, so I'm throwing it away. However, this reminded me that my body will also eventually break, so I'm going to jump into a meatgrinder since eventually my body will be useless in the future.
