Fistbump on the night before her big tournament seems kind of like a downgrade given how they've held hands in public and were literally naked with each other in the hot strings but I guess they homies now so ok :/

I guess if fits for sending her the rest of the way home into a fighting tournament, seeing how they still haven't finished closing the physical distance compared to the emotional one.

Definitely seems nicer than a hug or just holding her hand tight. Those would seem like he's somewhat worried about her, but he trusts she can do well, so he sends her with a more energetic thing(?).

Maybe third option: new manga continuation, after a time skip and with a new setting (college, married life, who knows). Just like "Moto Takagi-san". That would allow Nanashi to take a break in between, then restart with a fresh mind.

Hot take... I kinda don't like the Moto side series to Takagi-san... well I don't hate it, I just like the main series more, and I don't really have an explanation as to why...

i'm talking about the spiritual conquest of the female by the male, people won't verbalize it that way but that is the draw of both takagi and nagatoro. i dont have to say which one's actually delivering on that promise
