She's a bigot, but I think it's more a convenient avenue to attack, rather than a deep-held conviction about sexual preference. Really some mix of both. Humans are constantly tearing others down to climb to the top of the hierarchy, and Misaki seems like a classic bully. She put up with Rei before because she saw Rei as a pliable lackey. As soon as she saw weakness she tried to turn the entire class against her.

The lesson is, people suck and school is hard. Katano is a real one though.

Kosaki did something wrong. She stayed silent and then joined in when prompted. She's under pressure so it's understandable but it's still something history would consider wrong. History is littered with people standing by and pretending that they aren't complicit. And this time she joined in a bit, likely because of fear. But who knows, since she hasn't spoken much yet. She could very well feel the same but just be a quiet person, hiding behind the more aggressive friend.
