its wasn’t intentional but basically her dark skin and I think her hair being black is because of the dark spirit king, so when the light king gives her a blessing it caused her skin to lighten. I believe it was thinking along the lines of Japanese culture where having pale skin is preferred than tanned skin.

Just as the comments under the raw had mentioned, the heroine is a fool who believes that since she is the "protagonist of the novel" she will go as she wishes.

This is simply all a game this "heroine blessed by the light spirit" believes? In that world you fool it's called real life... and it's going to slap you hard when it does. Fool...

We got so many isekai heroine vs isekai vilain now.
I was thinking she can befriend the protagonist to avoid the bad end until she was isekai too and thinking this world as games/novel for her.
How did she survive the slum(?) with that mindset anyway.

Oh god, this bitch is treating it like a game and just spouting everything as if the others wouldn't notice or care. This walking dumpster-fire-to-be is going to be painful to watch... Time to make popcorn~ :D

@Kyujyu Yes, that is fast becoming the new trope, "good isekai villainess vs bad isekai heroine".

how obnoxious she thinks this world was created for her (the fake heroine)

you all should try https://www.novelupdates.com/series/im-the-heroine-but-i-want-to-hand-that-role-over/ it's not a heroine vs villainess (both isekai'd), but a heroine isekai'd and she doesn't want to be heroine (obvious by the title). rather, she wants the villainess and her crush to stay togther.

Can I just say I was happy that the classmates reacted approriately to the light-girl's rudeness? Ah, she looks pretencious...

Is it wrong of me to just want the main character to try talking to this new character?

Pretty sure our "heroine" already blew her chance to recreate the novel by not acting like in the novel and alienating her classmates. Also, if she spouts things like "novel" and "past life", everyone is going to think of her as a weirdo.
Can´t wait to see what happens next.

Will she have to use the same lines as in the novel to try and trick the heroine into thinking nothing has changed (except like what she did just now, change the tone of her voice)

Well in the novel, the Light Spirit King Lady Grace becomes so done with heroine bimbo Amelia's BS she leaves her. Afterward Grace gives Claudia her blessing "totally not as an apology" so she could use healing magic and was all "oh sorry, I didn't mean to change your skin color" and now all those shallow shits that shunned her for her skin color are being all friendly. Makes me want to deck them in the faces

listen to that makes me want to smack them all in the heads. The only ones who were nice to her when she was black were her brother, the butler, two princes and her best friend. Honestly if the author did that then she doesn't change or defy anything at all, it's doesn't represent loving yourself the way you are and use that love to change the people around you. Up to this point in the manga she did change the two lovers and maybe some of her classmate, I'm glad she can change them into getting to know her more but seriously, this is how you messed up your own setting.

Actually the light skin tone is preferred in most Asian yellow based skin tone country. Part of this was implanted since our history of being colonized by white people and their discrimination towards "yellow monkeys" (at least that's what I picked up in my history class). So people who are naturally tan or brown skin based here are usually target of body shaming. It will never be aggressive and straight forward to you but they will never agree or accept you. This is how we roll here and it sucks
