@planetdream honest question, believe me i dont want to start shit, im just really curious: why do u like that?

A while back everyone found out about what was gonna happen, and everyone hated it, the fact that they only treat her better coz her skin got lighter, specially her parents is horrible, she already planted the seeds to be acepted, everyone who was with her on the war know shes not bad and her friends support her, and after the protagonistTM girl breakdown, her reputation would only get better, so she was on the way to be fully accepted by her own merits, so why was it necessary for the author to transform her? really at this point there was no need.

thats why i ask you why do u like that? im legit curious, is it coz she'll finally get the respect she deserves?or coz her parents will finally stop being shitty?, again sorry if this sounds aggresive, im just bad expressing myself.

@AiriAi

I don't mind the hero becoming the villain really....there's still a good few that play it straight, its generally just that when somebody gets reincarnated into the role that everything goes to shit because they know from the beginning how everything will go and don't put any effort towards making it go that way. Generally the hero is the hero because of their kindness and skills, when they put no effort into their skills and have a different personality this quickly goes awry. Like the one with the hidden boss who has a hero who thinks she's the demon lord...that one isn't even reincarnator but the heroine changed due to the actions of the 'villainess' and started trying to protect herself rather then train up making her completely unsuited for the role......and because she accelerated her getting into contact with the Love Interests she didn't gain any female friends and so doesn't especially grow instead insulated from the world by her three guardian idiots.

So long as it makes sense I'm fine with it. Hell there's also the one where the heroine wasn't excessively bad to start with though....self important.... she only truly became bad towards the end when she tried to make sure the villainess went down and tried to take the guy the villainess was falling for because in the real world she liked him the most but didn't originally think it was possible to get him because she was the heroine of a previous game where he wasn't a option.

Well, it was fairly obvious how that was going to go down. She socially slandered the person who was a war hero for having just defended the kingdom from an invasion with no casualties on either side with no evidence whatsoever to back up her accusations. Not to mention Claudia is the daughter of a duke, so attacking her without solid evidence was pretty foolish to begin with. To make it still worse, the way she worded her verbal assault slandered those who had fought now and previously to defend the kingdom. And all right in front of the king and quite a few nobles as well. Even if she somehow avoids going to prison, she basically just signed her own social death warrant. Still, I wonder who that guy who prodded her into doing it was and what his aim is.

The pace of this manga is weirdly FAST and the romance seemed a bit too forced, I don't even remember why and how she has fallen in love with him tbh.

Got to love how asia in general gives 0 shits about being perceived as racist.
Personally I would like this to play out different, there is a decent story there, but oh well.

At those shouting racism, pls do not bring the topic here.
Besides, MC is of the same race as the rest of them, different skin color don't mean different race.

For everyone crying racism here you guys are stupid.
There is no "racism" going on as the problem is the magical protection and it has nothing to do with race.

People nowadays do not know what racism is and think any small unimportant thing is "racism". Pathetic.

I guess I can see what the idea of the author is? To show how people change their attitudes to a person just from their skin color, even the parents? But the execution is really bad because of the lightening of her skin. If anything, let's say MC was black because of Dark King, she should've actually turned brown-skinned because it's not like the Light King canceled the power of the Dark King. And this isn't about nitpicking, it really makes it seem like for the author there's no middle ground, it's either one end or the other. From the spoilers I've read, this might've also helped the MC cope with the change more easily.

@Rozzak I was thinking the exact same thing, I would laugh my ass off if it turned out that the Light King had a crush on the Dark King and he wants to avoid her hahaha

So is mystery man trying to get heroine killed or is he just trying to throw the kingdom into chaos by having heroine fight mc?
