On the issue of your access to Mangadex, it helps using a different DNS server than your ISP's. In order of difficulty, this can be done by:

• turning on DoH (DNS-over-HTTPS) in your browser settings;
• changing the DNS server for your LAN in your router settings pointing it to somewhere else than "automatic", e.g. Google's 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 that are easy to remember;
• changing the DNS server on your devices (it may require admin rights). For Android devices it's quite easy, search for something like "private DNS" in settings, enable it and for Cloudflare the location is 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com (this works when you're out and about too, not just when you're connected to your home wi-fi);
• spinning up a private DNS of your own. I had a spare Raspberry Pi in a closet so I went with this option and installed Pi-Hole on it, which also has the benefit of blocking near all tracking and ads in apps.
