ah yes my daily fill of cope and hatred for the day
That's not a guess, that's a fact. I think year 2 was mentioned explicitly, but even without that, in chapter 12 Seki/Kan already calls Yuu senpai, meaning he is year 2.Given this, I’d say chapters 1–12 most likely took place during year 2, but that’s just a guess.
The WN version has her saying that she didn't sleep at all for those three days. She wanted as much time with Yuu as possible.Does Yuu not notice the bags under Yami's eyes or is that suppose to represent the darkness she's facing for the readers to see? So am I assuming she ghosts him & that's why they broke up? At this point, I should read the novel for more context because everything is spiraling downwards. Thanks for the translations.
She also slapped him as if he was a fault for the breakup, though it could be something he said unrelated to the relationship before the slap. She even yelled "Who do you think you are?!"So.....she was the one who broke things off? Just to get this last bout of freedom out of herself? So she can take care of the mother she "broke" out of pure guilt?
Then, if she was the one who broke things off, why initiate the kiss with the MC if you were "done" with him? (before the flashback)
Again, I appreciate more context with the character, but it's leaving with more hanging questions now.
It feels mawkish, or manipulative. The author has gone so far out of their way to make the character sympathetic that they've essentially overdone it. Sure, I feel bad, but I'm not immersed in it anymore; it's eye-rollingly obvious that my heart strings are being pulled and it's getting old. This seems more comical than tragic, and I don't know how to explain
I don't see what's so hard to understand. She is obviously still in love with him and he came to find her (doesn't matter if it was on purpose or not) despite her attempts to avoid him. The rest is just a heat of the moment.So.....she was the one who broke things off? Just to get this last bout of freedom out of herself? I completely forgot about that short interaction right before this flashback. Doesn't really improve my opinion of her honestly. She also slapped him as if he was a fault for the breakup, though it could be something he said unrelated to the relationship before the slap. Like, I don't know girl, what is he to you other than potentially a 'toy' you just grew out of before leaving it in the dust without another word spoken? Your situation's fucked up, sure, but that gives you no right to fuck up unrelated people's (love) lives just to show how shitty the world is, how you were his world at one point when he thought he lost one out of his own inadequacies to reach it (the childhood friend).
Probably dramatizing more than it needs to be, I know, but regardless, tragic homewrecker is still a home-wrecking bitch.
Yea. As i mentioned in the previous chapter, these two walking red flags can get together and Hikari can find a better partner.Yeah ok, Hikari has got to get away from both of these people and find a nice normal man and normal girl friends.
Oh, that’s right! You could even argue it’s after April, since the school year in Japan starts then. That's not a guess, that's a fact. I think year 2 was mentioned explicitly, but even without that, in chapter 12 Seki/Kan already calls Yuu senpai, meaning he is year 2.
