I wonder if it’ll be like this in the present timeline Hikari deserved her fluffy romance story that was described until chapter 20, she doesn’t deserve the dogshit drama story she got thrown in after, being around Yami will only bring her bad omens. Don’t really care about Yuu tho, if when we finally come back to the present timeline line the first thing he says is sumn like: « you abandoned me without even telling me why, I like hikari now » and pushes Yami away, then sure I’ll root for him too, but i don’t think he’s gonna do that…

Seems like what I said was correct for the past few chapters. This author has really tried and continues to try and bring more hate to Yami for being the best girl. Literally last chapter tried to make her as worse as possible and this chapter acted like it didn’t happen and it’s been forgotten. As much as people wanna hate on Yami she brings life to this manga. This was very wholesome when she was going out with the MC and Hikari being out of the equation. Now this manga has turned into shit. I hope the author speed this backstory and bring us to the present. I would love to see Hikari getting cucked again and Yami potentially winning in the end so I can see the Hikari simps cry again. I hope Yami, Hebi and AKari all end up winning. Something different for a change would be nice.

Aya slapped him and in both Hikari and Aya's perspectives he seemed suprised by the kiss, so maybe? At least the calling her out part, ? on which girl (if either) he likes.

Both this arc and the Yuu arc is Aya testing the people who offered her kindness and support b/c she thinks she's too damaged to deserved their innocence. Like she's very much the same girl here as she was w/ Yuu, it's just that the nonsense she pulled w/ him tended towards passive aggressive tests that flew over his head b/f she ghosted. W/ Hikari she's also doing the "I don't care if you're my friend/(deep down please be my friend)" act.

Names check out because Hikari is just the Yang without the Yin, girl might as well be a concept instead of a person atp. Also not a big fan of the resolution (or at least the wording of it). The whole "unforgivable person" thing and how Hikari made it so that Yami can "no longer stay indifferent" doesn't rub me the right way, though I can guess it's that her unrelenting positivity contrasts against Yami so much the latter can't help but lash out and be defensive. But that isn't articulated nor implied subtly. That or I can't read between the lines. Might be the latter. Still think this series is hot garbage that I will keep reading, though.

While what Yami did is stupid and irresponsible, don't exaggerate either, a horny salary man looking for a high school girl in a 'dating' app is more than a few degrees separated from selling children to a sex trafficking ring.

Well, as pranks go - not the worst. I once was walking home at about 11 pm on december 29, slightly drunk, saw a police car drive by, when bam, on the ground, in cuffs, on a back seat, one of the cops radioes "yeah, we got the MF from the BOLO" (not direct quote but translated the best it can be), police precinct, interrogation room, I am in it for 15 minutes only to see couple of my cop acquaintance walk in with keys and a crate of "confiscated" champagne, turns out their mates, who grabed me off the street, saw and recognized me walking (i've been to that precinct, well many times, does not matter), radioed this jackasses and the rest of the night was drinking.
