Thanks for the chapter!
MC should get a job that requires a lot of strength like construction, fighting or wrestling. That or use magics or items (or create a spell or item,) that'll weaken his stats enough so can avoid breaking things. Seems like Angelica really had a sheltered upbringing. Although it does seem like she really likes the MC despite being sent as a trophy wife by a bunch of selfish bastards who locked her away as a living sacrifice to make things supposedly better for everyone else. I wonder if she and the other Holy Maidens were allowed to have hobbies, interests, and study things or if it was non-stop indoctrination of only eating, sleeping, and worshiping. Good thing the king and other leaders didn't listen to those ungrateful idiots who wanted to execute the hero for not killing the Demon Lord faster or somehow miraculously protect everybody and prevent damage simply because he's the hero despite not being able to do anything to help at all themselves. Like it's ok to kidnap someone, force them to win a fight can't do themselves, and shoulder all there expectations like a Saint just because they selfishly decided that he's a Hero. Although the king and others should've thought what could reward MC with when he went home during the years he was fighting rather than taking a year to discuss it after he was sent home with a big gap in his life. Should've given Angelica some gold and jewels he could sell for some money to help pay for her room and board. After all, if a woman showed up in one of their citizen's life in a one way trip, it's not going to be easy getting identification papers for her and citizen will also need to pay more for her food and shelter. It's great that she's willing and beautiful, but until she adjusts she has no idea about the MC's world much less how to help out and earn her keep. Granted she has no experience about the world she's from either since likely was confined to a convent with cheap food and accommodations.
@monkey123 Elza was the girl he liked. Since he said he couldn't save her and had a memory of her asking if her sacrifice would really save everybody I'd say she did die hence why MC feeling guilty and couldn't take her with him. As for who she was she probably was the Holy Maiden sent from the Church to help guide, nurture, and watch him until he defeated the Demon Lord. Will have to keep reading to know what happened to her but likely used some spell to either greatly weaken, finish off, or seal the Demon Lord which either needed all of her life force to be powerful enough or the spell or it's backlash would kill the caster as well for some reason. Like, for example, to get guaranteed results spell had to be cast on target from 5 feet away but blast from spell could kill humans within 10 feet or something. Hopefully will find out more sooner than later.
