Oh wow, I really never thought of that, because usually other manga would be like, level 5 makes you as strong as an athlete or sth.

The demotivation to train yourself because you're stronger (level 2) than the average sure is a fresh viewpoint to me.

Hm, looks like Kayoko might not be hopeless after all, since her mom seems to be portrayed positively for now, unless the author decides to suddenly go in the other direction. In the novel, she shamelessly pushed for Furuya to marry Kayoko after he becomes a big shot and Kayoko fades into irrelevancy.

There are probably some deviation but I think it won't change much unless they want manga version to be quite different or lighter...or just skipping part of arc.

This will depends on the writer and artist contribution to the story. Since the medium differs, it has its own advantages and disadvantages so the direction of the story may change as we progress. Faithful adaptation might be good but one that also improves from the source material is even better.

I mean, they are special, but they forget that special doesn't mean above others.

Seems like that other world became harsh because they "just couldn't have good things".

One one hand, it's brave and moral to interfere. On the other, foolhardy.

Very pointed thankfulness. Though for a good reason.

Hoarder confirmed.

"The dungeon is dangerous, I might die."
Perfectly valid reason.

Power corrupts, indeed.

Just a little bit of a vigilante.

I think some better way to deal with those people who starts to become crooks because of power will be to talk about it in his channel, it's still fine how he dealt with that in this chapter, i like it

It is fine to stand idle. But as long do not get any God complex from "fixing" the fates of these people, I am cool with him messing with those people.

As for his Kayoko, I sure do hope she doesn't become a bitch through and through. Or go ahead, I have lost much interest in her upon discovering her fate in other mediums.

That was a great chapter with a sensible solution in another world to a real problem. Thank you for tl!

The last thought of MC is how I feel about actions of a lot of idiots around the world. Just because they can, doesn't mean they should, also, how often these individuals think things through? Considering that every action tends to have a reaction, even if it's a belated one.

I think taking these measures is the job of the country.

They should have foresee this and taking measures.

Guess everyone is useless and only MC is capable here.

Not really, my guess is this problem not large enough where a government perceives it as an issue, if they are even aware of it in the first place among other points.

Ehh, not completely sure immediately stripping their powers that quickly is a great idea; some of them could have had even higher leveled adventures steal from them multiple times and nobody caring about them to the point they decided the world was ok with it and merely a fact of life; a bit more questioning, etc, would have been better. Could have also technically have had a robinhood type person who saw someone using another as slave labour and stole from them to give to the actual worker. Sure, all those cases are unlikely, and they likely were all trash, but still feels hasty, and odd to the outside world that a single classroom would be targeted too; better to start in the dungeon on anyone he witnesses doing so.

In the classroom he said he would take their levels and access them there after to see if they were worthy to get the levels back.

I honestly dont have an issue with hos actions either. Even if their actions are a knock on effect of their peers stealing from them. It still shows they lack the needed character to function in the capacity of an adventurer.

I think the dungeons are very much wild west territory, regulations and government oversight haven't caught up to the crime potential in a dungeon. Especially since there is little way to show off evidence of wrong doings when modern technology doesn't work in the dungeon. And the requirements of needing adventure traits for anyone to patrol or interfere with crime inside the dungeon doesn't help.

It's particularly strange in japan, which has a strong walking culture and gets pretty darn cold. You'd at least get enough physical ability to get around easily.
