That's pretty rapey already. The thing is, Roxanne is forced to submit. He doesn't care if she's actually into it. He literally says something along the lines of "She's mine somI can do what I want, right?".
Obviously it's nit violent rape, but it's still power rape. She has no choice in the matter, and he makes no attempt to see if there are any mutual feelings. Even in this manga adaptation, she sure has that look of "ehh.. again.." before he starts sexing her.
His next slave he immediately bangs too, with the exact same excuse. It's fine because she has no choice.
It's the perception the mc has of "It's fine beause I own them." That's already rapey.
Don't misunderstand, I know there are other ways of viewing it, I was just wondering who ultimately decides what gets put into the manga. Like the series about the daydreamer, in the novel he sleeps with his mother and his first female friend/girlfriend, but in the manga he doesn't. If people here like this story, that's completely fine, everyone has their own taste. Most of the Isekai I like are pretty generic, sappy slice of life stories which I know aren't popular here.
Do the writers themselves change the stories? Or is this like something the manga publishers decide?
