Honestly the only thing that kept me going was the last couple of minutes of the anime version which showcased the rest of MCs harem, hopefully that gets a second season.
Also can't wait to we get to the super busty dragon/lizard girl

Isn't that like a skill tree, so Michio actually uses his points.. Though there are the bowls at the bottom too, so the top row is likely the XP bar, and it gets filled & starts over on level ups. Mysterious for sure, and would love more details on it.

I wonder what's with the tree, the scales/baskets and the loadbar in the Intelligence Cards. Were it something related to levels 1) I would have expected the people from that world to have noticed it by now, and 2) Michio's should have been way bigger than Sherry's (unless it's an EXP bar for the current level).
I would had assumed that the bar at the top would be current EXP, the tree either jobs unlocked or active perks and the scales/baskets points yet to assign, but that doesn't fit with what we have seen until now.

Let me correct you lol. A tiny minority complain and even send death threats. These are treated with more disdain and contempt by fellow audiences and creators alike even compared to communities in other countries, literally scum of the earth not worth listening to. Even if they existed, they would be ignored.
The number one and two rules in otaku culture is respect the creators and respect the areas of interests of others. Something increasingly absent in western culture. Even if a few people gripe, for better or for worse the vast majority accept and play along with author ideas even if they don't understand or don't like where stuff is going. If they really don't like it there will be a quiet exit. This series still obviously does good numbers so it's still fine.
The other half of that equation is maybe consider this pacing and plot direction is just what the Japanese audience wants. Which wouldn't be surprising because with the aforementioned attitude, Japanese audiences are better matched to specific niches than elsewhere since they're enough to look for what they want and ignore what they don't. Powerful trending genres like Isekai aside, there is still a plethora of genres and niche topics in Japanese media that wouldn't be able to find an audience and survive if it was otherwise.
I guess MC never owned a cat. Cats don't give a wit about their owner except what they can feed them lol.

I remember she having problems talking with MC for not being taught the language before MC bought her but she doesn't even speaks in broken sentences and doesn't understand one bit of it...too many years passed, I don't remember if in the WN it was the same or the author made so she spoke it a little.
But is a small detail, she will likely develop in the same way of the original and speak a bit here and there because she is being taught at home from MC and company instead of a actual teacher.
