Let me stop you there for a second: Michiro's ability to level up at 20 to 400 times the speed of a normal person and him killing strong monsters with Durandal and magic is breaking your brain and perception of the world a bit here.

Mid 30s is actually a really respectable level for somebody from this world, we're talking a decade of hard training and steady work for the average person to reach that level. 50s would be close to elite levels, 60s in very rare cases and anything above that is extremely rare and usually only for very special circumstances like taking lots of doping medicine (think Rare Candies from Pokemon) or whatever.

They've done in a couple of weeks with half a party what others would take a decade or more to do with a full one.

Isn't that like a skill tree, so Michio actually uses his points.. Though there are the bowls at the bottom too, so the top row is likely the XP bar, and it gets filled & starts over on level ups. Mysterious for sure, and would love more details on it.

My biggest argument against your XP bar theory is that Roxanne, Sherry and now Miria all started at the same amount of black dots. I find it a little odd that they'd all have the same exact amount if that's what it is. Perhaps they simply coincidentally had the same amounts, but I dunno. Roxanne toyed with lv1 monsters that had escaped from the dungeon back at her hometown and Sherry leveled up to get Explorer, so it'd be unlikely for all three to match.

I'm mostly interested in the top row of dots, as well as the four to the left of that. I wholeheartedly agree that the tree is something like skills or whatever.

I remember she having problems talking with MC for not being taught the language before MC bought her but she doesn't even speaks in broken sentences and doesn't understand one bit of it...too many years passed, I don't remember if in the WN it was the same or the author made so she spoke it a little.
But is a small detail, she will likely develop in the same way of the original and speak a bit here and there because she is being taught at home from MC and company instead of a actual teacher.

I think on the Light novel she starts to speak in brokeh Brahim faster but yeah.... it will still rely a lot on Roxanne for a long time...

So we get to see more depictions of the intelligence cards (we never really get detailed descriptions of them in the LN), and I'm just as confused as ever as to the pattern that the black dots on the cards are following.

Michiro's lost black dots from his top row so presumably his have rolled over, and Sherry's gained a lot. They're obviously following a set pattern but I've no idea what exactly. The mystery deepens.

Information about levels and unlockable classes don't show up on Intelligence Cards, at least in the LN.

Its part of the huge information advantage the MC has from having his menu skill. Natives of this world don't know what jobs they have unlocked or their exact unlock conditions, and they don't know their levels; they don't even have a concept of level aside from Explorer, because its level has a physical impact in the number of slots in the item box.

Michiro's bar of 21 dots has been reduced by 13 dots since we last saw it, and he's not learned a dozen new classes since Palmasque.

Semi-recently, I forget the exact chapter but it was around Palmasque.


Now he has 5 black dots and the four dots in a little loop has the top dot lit again.

That's the whole thing, just picking up a random dimwit catgirl? I love my nekomimi mode as much as the next guy, but this is just so unsatisfying narratively so far.

I don't really get the first and second panels in page 8, not sure if lost in translation or I'm missing something.

The way I initially read that panel was that the slavers had just given Miria fish as a reward/parting gift for being bought. But then I caught myself thinking. "Would they ? Really ?"

So, instead should that bubble from Roxanne be read as "She said, thank you (in advance) for the (future) fish." ? Coz I don't really see how Michio then goes on to conclude "they slapped a restriction on her dinner right from the start." Based on what ? Just coz she's acting all cute with her new owner ?

And then, I have no clue what's happening in the second panel. What topic ? Why's Miria pissed off ?
