The power scaling in this series is extremely weakly defined or not well thought out all. Like using equivalent exchange on a level 3 thief causes the protag to almost die, but a level 25 Explorer is barely any sweat.

But you may say he had more many abilities by then and he didn't have any by the time he took out the level 3 thief. However, we know that Sherry has been steadily gaining more MP despite having no MP abilities on her class either. Again from the looks of it you don't always keep a party set up unless you are going to a labyrinth or traveling. This would mean that regular Smiths should have no access to MP since they have no MP skill.

Then remember he should be far stronger than or at least on par with higher tier parties (floor 20+) with 6 classes + the additional 2 classes. It just doesn't add up.

The initial slavery aspect of the relationship is troubling, and it has always bothered me as a trope in so many isekai manga.

THAT BEING SAID...! This last chapter was unexpectedly romantic in scope. I mean that separately from the sex scene - there were some astonishingly deep feelings on display, and quite well articulated. It's rare that emotions in a manga are conveyed beyond 'he said x' and 'she said x', but this last chapter managed to really land them surprisingly heavily.

The pace is understandable, as it takes time, and money to produce those pages.

Do not forget that the anime was awarded a small budget. So only a few animators enthusiasts took it upon themselves to make it the best quality, despite the low income they receive. (look what happened to One Punch Man season 3).

In my opinion, if any studio focuses on anime adaptations, it would suck because the funding for an isekai story that has NSFW bedroom action would be lacking.

It is not 1995, but the year 2025. Where the cost of bread in Japan and the increased apartment rent is more unstable then ever.
Their animators are struggling in the anime industry.
