Novels have a lot more freedom than manga which has more freedom than anime. Just the nature of the beast.Eeeeeh. That's not the way it went in the novel. It had more depth to it.

I'd say Hero-sama so douche.foe friend or a duche?
It may look like a dude just randomly barged into their fight.
But in the novel, it was hinted that his intervention was guided by his god,
presumably to stop the dark lord from saying the god's name out loud
any explanation about the skill cooldown she was talking about recalling the Earth King?Something like that. Much better scene imo.
So....why did Atou attack the twins?
After the scene of self-reflection (throwing a tantrum) and saying her personal feelings don't belong, after Takuto told her they can't afford to lose hero units and don't want to lose their people, she deals what could have very easily been fatal hits on the girls....
It was nice and dramatic.....but ultimately stupid and going against Takuto's orders.
"After the scene of self-reflection (throwing a tantrum) and saying her personal feelings don't belong, after Takuto told her they can't afford to lose hero units and don't want to lose their people."Shes excessively loyal to Takuto. So she considers the twins who went berserk and didn't obey rules a liability. Danger to Takuto = something to be cleared.
Yeah felt like it was suppose to “we dont have to fight!” Or “you dont have to fight me” which honestly sounds odd either wayThat's a weird thing to say for a first encounter after the dude barged in on their fight.
nah seems basic naïve hero to me (you can tel by how he killed the demon king lacked showmanship of a narcissist)Douche... it's always a douche
That sounds awful! The manga version is way better! In the (web?) novel there was a standoff between Atou, the twins and the new guy, where she recognizes his outfit as a highschool uniform. Atou orders the twins to stop and return to Mynoghra as ordered by their king, and the twins simply refuse, saying that they want to go after the new guy for taking away their opportunity to avenge Isla. Seeing their outright insubordination, Atou explodes, yelling at them to remember their place and obey orders.
Meanwhile the new guy stands there awkwardly as he gradually understands that he wasn't saving anyone and that he just got in their way, causing the twins to become hostile. Atou questions the new guy about his intentions while being wary of a potential new enemy from another world, and eventually the new guy leaves.
Then the night fades away, and the twins snap out of their moon induced madness, becoming consumed by their grief. Atou then orders them again to return, telling them that she will pretend that that (their outright insubordination) didn't happen. The twins comply while feeling guilt for disobeying their own king's orders.
Something like that. Much better scene imo.
