If the math was translated correctly, then it does indeed seem to be off quite a bit. I'm assuming he actually meant to say the price for making each burger was 1.65 red copper coins, not .65. At a profit of .35 red copper coins, multiplied by 60, would be the same as 3.5 multiplied by 6, or 7 multiplied by 3, so 21 red copper coins.
I am also a little thrown off by him saying "red copper coins" when talking about his burgers, but just "copper coins" when talking about the rental of the stall. So it is possible that "copper coins" are worth more than "red copper coins", but if they get a profit of 1.35 red copper coins per burger, that would be 1 more for each of the 60, so 60+21=81. For 81 "red copper coins" to be more than 20 "copper coins" it would seem to be an exchange rate of 4 "red copper coins" for 1 "copper coin", which seems like an odd point for changing denominations, so I assume that "red copper coins" and "copper coins" are the same thing, and that it was supposed to be 1.65 and .35, but got flipped to .65 and 1.35.

I checked the raws. They're called red copper coins the entire time. He says they won't be in the red if they sell 60 burgers, but I guess he didn't technically say that he would be if they sold less than 60, so maybe the calculations beforehand were more to see if they could make a profit given a reasonable amount of sales.

@redpandamaniacal Thank you for confirming that for me. I assumed they were the same currency. As I said, if he actually meant a .35 profit per burger, but the author wrote it incorrectly (since I assume you also checked the raws to confirm that they said cost of .65 and profit of 1.35), then 60 would be right around the break even point (and the easiest one to look at for a 10 day period, since it equals 6 a day), even though, technically, they would reach it at 58 burgers (58x.35=20.30).
It is also true that he didn't say they wouldn't make profit sooner, but he seems to be asking about his math being off for those calculations, which makes that less likely.

That is indeed some interesting math. Considering the author mentions selling them at 2, it's possible that they originally wrote 1 coin, did the math, then changed it to 2 and forgot to correct the quantity of sales, I guess. No way of knowing for sure without asking, I guess.
