Putting aside the author’s glowing enthusiasm for feet, I wanna mention how much I always love seeing the author’s glowing enthusiasm for the wolf. He gets drawn in such intensely stylized ways, plus he gets very cartoony feats like blowing that arrow back at the archer. He feels sort of “toon force” ish but more in a european fairy tales way than a cartoon way, with him being the Big Bad Wolf who can blow your house down with his breath. And I just keep feeling like the author really loves him and really is able to bring out a lot of creativity when depicting him.

It really is cool seeing an important werewolf villain again. I think Soul Eater was the last time in anime.

There is a lot of great deal of details in every chapter to various extend. Especially on reread that I'd miss the first time... But 'em feet pics man. Prolly one of the best I've seen that didn't make them weird.

still not sure what's the wolf's deal. I'm pretty sure he's trying to reduce the number of demons in the world, but he'll be found out this way.

what's with the random illustration of Ginko on page 43? Not that I'm complaining, but it feels like something you'd see as a title page, as a volume omake, etc. Not just in the middle of a chapter to create a scene transition.
