I'm doing a bit! So first off, there's a Trans samurai joke. It goes something like this: What pronouns does the nonbinary samurai use? They/Them. The joke being that, if you pronounce the "/" it sounds like "they slash them," referencing how samurai slash and cut people up. The comment I made is me initially setting up the joke by referencing how our MC abandons her gender(/role) of womanhood to dedicate herself to being a samurai (this echoes transitioning) to set up the punchline of her pronouns being She/Them. An in "She Slash Them". Cus she's a samurai. It took a lot of bending and reaching to make it work but I'm happy enough to get to explain my thinking behind it lmaooo
