while you are 100 % right that Pharmacists and doctors are diffrent.
the MC was a man who was so obsessed with learning all he could with the hope of finding new cures to diseases that he died off it, as a person with his knowledge, that says a lot.
its stated in the light novel a lot better, but he was way above knowledge wise what is normal to the point where knows most if not all recipes by hand of pretty much any drug you can think of.
this is why he can make pretty much any cure to anything.
its is not a big stretch to think that a man who is so obsessed to his degree would learn other field of medical practise like how to operate and the like,
just to know how to better explore new options for medicine as that was his goal all along.
but yes. he is portrayed to have pretty deep knowledge of pretty much every medical field you can think off.... but its not the most outlandish thing i ever seen in a manga, especially not isekai types.
on a totally diffrent note. this manga is mostly a feel good overpowered MC type of manga that you read for the silly things and the happy gut feelings.
similar to how some MC in isekai mangas have the power to cure/ heal everything with a wave off his/her hand.

and while i am a giant trashlord who likes most types off isekai mangas, this dose stand out just a little bit by the fact that the MC is not OP becouse of deus ex machina powers given to him for no reason. but becouse off how broken he was from the start of his first life.
while not being as totally immersion breaking impossible unlike a certain manga with 7 high schoolers who somehow all are gods among men on the same airplane that crashes and end up in a random isekai world.

Wow I really like this series, but man reading all these names are giving me mild flashbacks to chemistry and biology. Repeatedly I felt like my IQ was too low for this... I wonder if the author has a degree in these fields, or just really likes chemistry.
It's nice that he learns to grow his overpowered abilities with logical methods, but it'd be nice to see more discovery.

@DestroyedClone more like pharmacist. my sister is pharmacist and she confirmed that most of the term in this manga are common clauses when she was still in university. like aciclovir and so on.
@Dakkadence well, my sister is pharmacist, but she's almost like doctor in my family. well, she couldn't operate but at least she could give exact diagnosis and recipe just like general practitioner. i guess that's the perk of someone who took healthcare education?
