Thank you for translating
nooo, 1 girl down to another guy
SASUGA Sasuga KeiOof
I Dont see how I can blame him tho. I dont even see any rejection.
I mean none of the girls say anything about liking him romantically
at least from my experience with the author, she wasn't that drunk, but she will feel super guilty and will test her luck with the coworker (I'm like 99% sure it's a subordinate), and then a dramatic moment when Hiromi goes back home and she will try to go on the race again. Now, I totally understand where you're coming from, and I respect your decision to wait until the next chapter to see how things play out before making any judgment on Tsubasa's actions. However, I don’t know if I can fully agree with that.
If we factor in both the previous chapter and this one, her backstory shows that she has a history of letting her insecurities get the best of her. You’re right that her insecurities have led her to drinking, and that is true. But in the previous chapter, she even notes that she admires Anju for being so direct. Then, when Tsubasa finally tries to be direct herself, instead of doubling down on her confession or clarifying what she meant, she backs down and interprets Hiromi’s confusion as a rejection, even though he didn’t understand what she was trying to say.
That moment played directly into her insecurities. She took it as an indirect rejection, but it wasn’t one. If it had been an actual rejection, Hiromi would have at least understood where she was coming from when she confessed. He didn’t see it that way simply because he had no idea she had those kinds of feelings for him.
This lack of confidence is what drove her to drink, and because of that, she ended up sleeping with her coworker. Yes, you can say alcohol played a role, but keep in mind she’s a 27-year-old woman. This likely isn’t her first time drinking heavily or making this kind of decision. She was vulnerable, and she let that vulnerability take control, which is why she slept with her coworker.
That’s why I’m still very disappointed. Being drunk can remove fear, but it doesn’t erase the reasons behind why she did what she did. At the end of the day, she just wanted to feel wanted, and her coworker gave her that in the moment, but that moment was created off a misunderstanding, not an actual rejection.
Now, it’s possible this could lead to her moving on from Hiromi, but if the writer takes it in that direction, I’d find it disappointing. It would feel that way because we never really got to see her properly pursue Hiromi, or at least go on a date with him to see if something could work. If this is her way of moving on, I’d be disappointed, but I’d also understand.
Like I said from the start, I’m not angry with her, but I am very disappointed in her actions in this chapter. If the next chapter reveals she was just drunk and nothing more, then I’ll gladly take that back. But chapters 49 and 50 clearly show a pattern of vulnerability and the actions that come with it.
she also didn't appear as drunk as she's been in the past, to the point where she was stripping in front of Hiromi or passed out half-naked on his bed. Now, I totally understand where you're coming from, and I respect your decision to wait until the next chapter to see how things play out before making any judgment on Tsubasa's actions. However, I don’t know if I can fully agree with that.

Lili also said nothing at all about any of it to him until this very moment, and he's been operating under the assumption that Lili just wanted to end things, and so I could very much see him interpreting this as "well she probably just wants to try and be friends again since we'll still be under the same roof".People talk about how he's dense but given his history I just feel like he's being overly cautious. Remember that he just got dumped before, and now suddenly that girl asked to get back? I would certainly think "nah, ain't no way".
If you mean Tsubasa, does she really? Yeah, rejection sucks, but seems like she's set with another guy, so I'd call it a winBest girl loses again...
you mean set with a random guy who's taking advantage of her, is this your view of a good relationship? why so twistedIf you mean Tsubasa, does she really? Yeah, rejection sucks, but seems like she's set with another guy, so I'd call it a win
It's been a while since I read the Tsubasa chapters, but didn't she suggest they make the fake engagement thing real? Or imply it in some way?before this moment she never gave him any real hint that she had feelings for him
Me too, especially for me that consider tsubasa was best girl50 chapters just to basically end up where we started.
I'm finding it harder and harder to care.
