★ They both meet up and head to a love hotel. What they don't know is that the otaku kid, Kondo's old bullying victim back in middle school, spots them going in and snaps a photo. Not just that, he also calls the cops, since minors under 18 aren't allowed into love hotels.
◆ Turns out this otaku kid was actually saved by Eiji before. After becoming an NTR victim himself, he stopped trusting people completely, and once he got to high school he ended up totally isolated, too scared to talk to anyone, until Eiji approached him first. Eiji started asking him for book recommendations, and that's how they became friends. Even though they got split into different classes in their second year because of different tracks, the friendship stuck. So when this otaku kid found out Eiji went through the exact same thing he did, he got furious. He didn't want someone who mattered to him getting hurt because of Kondo. So he started tailing Kondo, managed to snap a photo of him going into Miyuki's house at one point, but since that wasn't solid enough proof, he kept looking for an opening and eventually caught Kondo and Miyuki walking into the hotel on camera. And on top of that, he also got a photo of the two of them getting arrested by the police.
★ Miyuki's mom completely loses it when she finds out what her daughter's been up to. She's beyond disappointed, why would Miyuki cheat on Eiji, someone who genuinely loves her, and end up sneaking off to a love hotel with some other guy instead. It hits her so hard she actually passes out right there at the police station.
★ As for the ending of volume one, Kondo and Miyuki haven't faced any real consequences yet for what they did. Kondo and his dad still think they can bury the whole thing, and figure Miyuki can still be useful to keep exploiting. What they don't know is that the otaku kid's already sent the photos to the school's soccer club coach, and if that doesn't do anything, he's planning to post them online to take Kondo down and tank the reputation of his dad, who's planning to run for mayor. Meanwhile, the former mayor, who's also a close friend of Eiji's dad, is getting involved too, he sees Eiji as basically his own grandson and refuses to forgive anyone who hurts him. As for the school itself, the principal and homeroom teacher are already prepping to punish everyone involved in the bullying, and are even planning to report it straight to the police.
