Afterimages are almost on the level of, "this person shows no openings!" which characters say to tell the readers that that person is really powerful without showing anything at all or putting any effort into explaining how or why.

Cid should just have saved Yuuka and let her witness Super Saiyan Akane get schooled easily while her plan completely got foiled. Would have been more satisfying than giving her the satisfaction of dying while thinking it’s all according to her plan.

Also after this arc there is only 1 LN volume remaining, i wonder if they would temporarily stop the manga soon or not. Seems like the author is probably involved with the game and the manga so the release of the novel is a bit slow.
