This is basically how it is in many parts of the world. 'Faculty Member' is what it means to work at said faculty. Depending on the country, Faculty can be the term for a bunch of departments of studies that are under one umbrella and are sometimes interchanged with 'school', 'Institute', 'academy'.

The boxes saying Faculty of <something> would mean that's their major where they're studying at, and in fact many student's University IDs in Asian countries will have on their IDs their faculty dan department names, with undergraduate/postgraduate label on them. It doesn't mean they're employed by the faculty at all.

Nah, I'm 100% with you there, from what you described I think both responses to the exposure are pretty lame. Maybe it'll be more impactful with the expressions and such in Manga. If not then hopefully the fallout afterward is more entertaining.

Good that Yuu isn't getting swayed by Karen's sudden 180. All I ask is for the male lead to be believable in his desire for revenge and to have something to contribute, which fortunately this chapter he did have something to show for. That outing's likely gonna be a date with Touko, but I do wonder if this is really going to go as smoothly as they think.
