This is the point where this sort of stories always start to lose my interest.
Put the characters in a situation that could force a change in the status quo in regards to their relationship and hype it up massively, and predictively fail to deliver because it the end nothing ever happens. And then just do that over and over again.
There is no emotional investment in seeing characters fret over the possibility of having intercourse for the first time together because we already knows it's not going to happen. It's just boring.
And yes, I know this isn't exactly a serious manga so I shouldn't expect much, but don't create expectations you're obviously not going to follow up on. It feels like you're taking me for a moron.
